Bidar is a city in the state of Karnataka. It is also called as crown of Karnataka. Headquarter of the Bidar District, it shares its borders with Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Bidar is mainly known as a great medieval city and capital of the Bahamani and Barid Shahi dynasties. Bidar city is known for its Bidri handicraft products. It has been ranked 22nd among the cleanest cities in India.
